3 great screen mirroring options

Business meetings often require we share our desktop with team members. So screen sharing is something that many of us may take for granted. However, when you need to do that with your mobile device, you may suddenly realize it is not something you know how to do. Anyone involved in developing, marketing, or supporting mobile apps sooner or later needs to share their mobile screens with another user. So, how can we do that? Screen mirroring is what you need.

Connect your phone

But what does screen mirroring mean, exactly? Essentially, it is a communication tool that allows you to connect your mobile device to a larger screen without any wires. When you want to share your app, do a live demo, or simply share content, these screen mirroring solutions will let you do that. So I am offering 3 of my favorites iOS Mirror applications.

Reflector 3: (Windows / Mac)

Reflector is an incredible and very popular tool. It allows you to project the screen of your device wirelessly. It is available for Windows and Mac, allowing you to project the screen through Airplay.

It also has an amazing function that allows you to make the connection with multiple devices. At the moment it detects more than one device, organize the screen of your computer to have a better view of the screens.

The main qualities of this application are that it is incredibly easy to install and use. Although it is a paid tool, it has a 7-day trial version.

AirServer: (Windows/Mac)

Like the other applications, this tool can be used to share the screen of your device on a Windows and/or Mac computer, or to any SMART screen. It is also capable of projecting multiple devices simultaneously.

One of the main advantages of this tool is that if you project on a SMART screen, you can have an excellent resolution because it projects up to 4K (depending on the resolution of the device).

It has a license with a cost of:
$ 7.99 – $ 11.99 for students
$ 19.99 Educations License
$ 39.99 Business License

ApowerMirror: (Windows/Mac)

This is a convenient and intuitive application that is also compatible with Windows and Mac. The only thing to keep in mind is that the devices must have the AirPlay function. ApowerMirror is an ideal application to watch movies, share images, etc. Using the “full screen” function makes it simple to use.

Like the other options, projecting the screen can be done wirelessly. Use a variety of options to control the phone through the computer.

Stream to a bigger screen

Now you have at least three options when you need to stream video, display photos, or show content from a mobile device to a computer monitor. I hope that was helpful to get you ready for your next pitch, demo, or support call. Regardless of the need, you know now what screen mirroring can do and how to get it.
